Audio Books
Audio books are
an excellent tool for working on your Spanish listening skills. If you're a
beginner/low-intermediate speaker, you can buy the hard copy of the book and
follow along while you listen to the tape or CD. If you're a more advanced
speaker, try listening to the tape to see how much you understand. Good luck!
Puerta del Sol audiomagazine
Puerta del Sol
is an audiomagazine for intermediate and advanced Spanish students, yet is versatile
enough for just about anyone. I wholeheartedly recommend it for teachers, independent students, homeschoolers,
travelers, and anyone else looking for authentic Spanish listening
practice.
Las puertas retorcidas
Subtitled "The Scariest Way in the World to Learn Spanish," this is
a bilingual grammar and audio book all rolled into one and is aimed at upper
beginning and intermediate students.
Think Spanish audio magazine
Think Spanish is an excellent learning tool for all levels of Spanish
students.
Voces de España audiobook
Voces de España is an audio history of 20th Spain. Three 60-minute CDs
narrated by Spanish journalists include sound clips from celebrated Spanish
figures. A full transcript and extensive glossary notes are also included.
Audible.com
has several dozen Spanish audiobooks for download, including language
instruction, fiction, and non-fiction.
Spanish Audiobooks
A great selection of Spanish audiobooks, including a limited edition box set of
Don Quijote de la Mancha, by Cervantes.
