There are a lot of words that look similar in Spanish and English, but that mean very different things. Avoid misunderstandings with these explanations for five new false cognates: arena, colegio/college, discutir/discuss, editor, and quitar/quit.

I am confused about when to use que by itself in a sentence or when it must be accompanied by de. For example,
1. No estoy seguro de que el café esté listo.
2. No estoy seguro que él recuerde mi nombre.
