Falsos Amigos - False Cognates
There are a hundreds of word pairs that look similar in Spanish and English, but
that mean very different things. Avoid misunderstandings with these explanations
for five new false cognates: discusión/discussion, equivocado/equivocal,
nudo/nude, pie, and tabla/table.

A good dictionary is one of the most important tools for Spanish
students. There is a great selection of free dictionaries available online,
