Questions about Immersion
Would it do an intermediate/advanced level speaker much good to go to a weekend immersion program? How long would it take the average English speaker to advance to a place where they're comfortable speaking Spanish? Is there a way to simulate this type of training at home by immersing myself totally in the language for a period of time: renting Spanish movies, playing Spanish music, studying Spanish, etc. or is it necessary to be forced to interact with others in the language?
