Spanish Accents
The Spanish acute accent (la tilde) has two main uses: to indicate that the normal rules of word stress are being
overridden and to distinguish between otherwise identical words, such as
que/qué and tu/tú.

Derogatory Endings

an ending that can be added to the word "casa" to indicate a crummy
house ("casaducha?"). Any others?
