Spanish language Decir - To Say, Tell - Spanish Verb

Decir - to say or to tell - is an irregular Spanish verb.

yo digo    nosotros  decimos
tú dices vosotros decís
él, ella, Ud. dice ellos, ellas, Uds. dicen

Decir is used just like its English counterparts.

Dicen que es importante. They say it's important.
No puedo decir.    I can't say.
¿Qué me dices? What are you telling me?
Digo la verdad. I'm telling the truth.

Decir is also used in many idiomatic expressions
