Spanish language Nombres plurales - Spanish Plural Nouns

Making nouns plural in Spanish is slightly more complicated that in English, but it's not too bad.

If the noun ends in a vowel, add S. casa
hombre
foto
casas
hombres
fotos
If the noun ends in any consonant except Z, add ES. mujer
rey
mes
mujeres
reyes
meses
If the noun ends in a Z, changed the Z to a C and add ES. (Why is this?) vez
lápiz
nariz
veces
lápices
narices

What did I tell you - pretty easy, right? Now try the test.

Note: The same rules apply when pluralizing adjectives.
