Nombres plurales - Spanish
Plural Nouns
Making
nouns plural in Spanish is slightly more complicated that in English, but
it's not too bad.
|
If the noun ends in a vowel, add S.
|
casa
hombre
foto |
casas
hombres
fotos |
|
If the noun ends in any consonant except Z, add ES.
|
mujer
rey
mes |
mujeres
reyes
meses |
|
If the noun ends in a Z, changed the Z to a C and add ES. (Why
is this?)
|
vez
lápiz
nariz |
veces
lápices
narices |
What did I tell you - pretty easy, right? Now try the
test.
Note: The same rules apply when pluralizing
adjectives.
