People often wonder whether this site has anything to do with my French language site on About.com. The answer is no - this is a completely separate site.

After working on my French site at About for over two years, I decided to branch out and try my hand at another site. Spanish was the obvious choice, but for various reasons I was not able to create a Spanish site at About, so I had to go it alone. Essentially this work is volunteer, although I earn a bit through advertising and affiliate programs.

I am happy to provide the resources on this site to you, the readers, free of charge and without any sort of a guilt trip. However, please understand that it takes a great deal of time and effort. If you like this site and would like to see it continue to grow, I need your help - your patronage will directly support my work on this site.
